Toronto Laser Services

This is the company that helped me to create my pins. They are amazing to work with! They are so friendly, and so prompt and attentive in their communication with you; only a handful of companies I've ever worked with have had this level of professionalism. And they're local (bonus!). Seriously though, the people at this company are amazing, with one-on-one help and quick to answer any questions I had, and ready to give advice where it was needed, and very accommodating with my rush order! They updated me every step of the way (file creation, material selection, starting cutting, etching, and the final result). I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone interested in having anything laser cut. I do not have enough good things to say about them!

First Weekend Back to School - Avoiding Homework

Serious procrastination today ... finished my magnets instead (complete with itty-bitty bunhead image transfers)! And here are some plush owls I've been working on (experimenting with hand-embroidery and the use of vintage fabrics); my mum and gram helped me stuff them and sew them shut over the holidays. Huge thanks to them both! ;)

New Bunhead Pins

Here's a couple new Bunhead pins!

Image Transfer Experimentation

Thanks Kelly ( http://subconsciousmeanderings.blogspot.com/ )! For showing me how to do this. For some reason this process has long mystified me but it turned out to be pretty easy (and very fun!).

I can't post the other image transfer pieces until after Christmas, but here is my test one, with my logo. In my excitement I put my image on sideways, leaving an awkward bit of negative space on the side. Fortunately Kelly had the genius idea to add a speech bubble! I think it's cute :)

Oh! Yes, there are sparkles on it. I was in Aboveground the other day and picked up some new glitter acrylic gouache (made by Turner). It's a bit addictive. I have to resist putting sparkles on everything now.
