Fashion Collage for Bob Berger (belated)

I've never really collaged before because I hate getting my hands sticky with glue :s but I actually had a lot of fun with this. The background is painted with tea.

Sorry if the quality seems less than superb - the original drawing was too large for my scanner bed so I had to scan it in 4 parts and stitch it all together in photoshop.

Current Project#2: Awesome Socks Zine

It seems patterned socks are back in style ;) at least, I love them ...

Current Project#1: Illustrated Recipe Book

INKED LEMMINGS IS GETTING A MAKE-OVER!!! coming SOON

Business Plan

My first homemade book! And also the packaging for my line of guitar-pick necklaces made for my final business project.
Brand: Blue Peony (... my jewelry company)

*There wasn't originally tape along the binding but the seam was splitting because it was sewn too tightly :s!! At 5:30 am this was the best patch-up job available. Too bad I didn't get a pic of the inside cover! It was light and dark blue floral paper.

FINAL FOR HERRERA

We had to listen to a podcast and then illustrate it; it's content discussed language, the power of word and the knowledge speech lends to people. This was not my favorite concept ... actually it was my weakest and I think more based on aesthetic than thought........... yet my prof for some reason picked this one for my final..
This is the version I am handing in, yet the one below is the version I prefer (but is not complicated enough for my prof - I like its clean graphic quality so much better than all the textures.)

BAND POSTER - media studio

Finally done this beastly poster!!
(I apologize if anyone finds this offensive) The band name was 'Holy Fuck' and their song 'Latin America'. We had to work analogue and then scan it and combine all the parts digitally using photoshop.
You can't really see the text, but I'm on a deadline for this and unfortunately don't have time to redo it all :s

Screaming Shrimp!

Over the Christmas my uncle told me a story...
One of his co-workers had recently been to visit their company in China ... After several days of being served traditional dishes and delicacies (one of which was comprised of three sparrows pinned to a board, feathers, beaks and eyes intact). He suggested to his host that perhaps, on their fourth night, they might eat something more 'western'. The host ordered a shrimp dish for him. When the meal arrived, a tureen was brought forth, filled, apparently, with dark blue-black liquid; and then, with mingled horror and amazement, the bowl emitted a high-pitched shriek.
It was, as promised, the shrimp dish. The liquid was a mixture of vodka and squid's ink - the shrimp were alive in the bowl, but slowly marinating from their insides out. Watching closer, the shrimp could been seen surfacing briefly. And the shrieking? - the shrimps' last breaths.
